The ANSELMANN ESTATE can look back on a history dating back to 1541. Today it comprises over 100 hectares of fine vineyards in the surroundings of the village Edesheim in the Southern part of the Pallatinate. It is run by the brothers Gerd and Ralf Anselmann and their families with great skill They apply the most modern machineries and have achieved a great reputation for producing great RED wines.

The estate offers top wines from a number of varieties, white wines: Riesling, Kerner, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Huxelrebe, Ortega, Siegerrebe, Gewuerztraminer, Morio Muskat; red wines: Spaetburgunder (Pinot Noir), Dornfelder, Heroldrebe, Schwarzriesling, Cabernet Sauvignon and Blauer Portugieser.

The estate has achieved numerous outstanding awards for its wines such as Medaglia d'Oro at Verona, Diploma di Gran Menzione, Gold Medals at the Concours Mondial, Brussels, awards at the World Wine Championship in Chicago, Gold medals at Vinandino at Mendoza/Argentina and at Bacchus at Madrid/Spain not to mention the many gold medals won in Germany.
